MATA AKSARA , YOGYAKARTA
Here, is a booklet prepared by Mata Aksara our local partner in Yogyakarta that captures their perspectives during the Hybrid Entrepreneur Bootcamp held in December 2025.
This booklet is presented in Bahasa Indonesia, as it reflects the authentic perspectives, voices, and cultural nuances of the local community. In the future, we hope to make this work available in other languages—serving not only as a translation effort but as a beacon of encouragement for other regional partners to step forward and share their own perspectives in their local languages, honoring the diversity and richness that each community brings.
It documents the activities conducted at SDN Model, featuring temporary AI-generated photos while we await final approval from parents and the school. Although these visuals serve as placeholders, the spirit they represent—the energy of learning, the confidence-building moments, and the collaborative ecosystem surrounding the students—is deeply genuine.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Zoura, who has been a tremendous support to Mata Aksara. Her dedication and thoughtful curation transformed this activity report into an insightful and enriching book. Her careful work highlights how learning flourishes when an ecosystem is built on mutual understanding, trust, and respect among all stakeholders.
We also express our sincere gratitude to Quilla, a volunteer at Mata Aksara whose commitment and emerging leadership qualities played a key role in compiling and organizing the documents and reports that shaped this booklet.
We hope this report becomes not only a record of what has taken place, but also a foundation—
a reference, a compass, and an inspiration for creating future activities that are even stronger, deeper, and more impactful for the students, the school, and the wider community.
SMPN 7 BALI
Meanwhile, the students of SMPN 7 Bali shared their joy with the surrounding community, capturing moments of gratitude, excitement, and togetherness. Here is a video from their side—sent directly by the students, with full permission from the Principal and the teachers in charge. Their spirit shines through, reminding us how meaningful learning becomes when it is rooted in real experiences and shared with the people around them.
Here is the link to the initiative from our Bali team, where the students attempted to explain the concept of a Global Citizen in English. While the outcome is not perfect, it reflects genuine effort, curiosity, and a willingness to try—qualities we deeply appreciate.
There were some technical challenges along the way. Wiati’s video was accidentally recorded upside down, and several files were extremely large. As a result, the students spent a significant amount of their mobile data—nearly 1 GB—just transferring videos. Hopefully, this experience helps them discover smarter workflows next time. A simple switch to Zoom recording would make the entire process more efficient. And of course, they can always rely on tools like ChatGPT to guide them through better methods. In that sense, this turned out to be a valuable learning moment.

Feel free to share your thoughts on the video so other members can see and learn from the experience as well.
We did, unfortunately, miss two important members—Ary and Anguma—who were not responsive to the global citizen initiative. We hope their level of engagement will grow as they continue to develop and find their own perspectives on leadership.
